Glamping is probably an old concept, but it has gained popularity in the US as more and more women seek to find places where they can find their creativity, solitude, and a sisterhood with fellow Glampers. The word glamper is a combination of glamour and camping, and the combination is delightful! I've glamped up four campers in my eight glamping seasons, and I'm working on number three, which is a work in progress! As you explore my campers, imagine what you could do for space of your own: a nook in the corner of your bedroom, a spot in your garden, or a "she-shed" in some other location. Enjoy and let me know any inspirations you find!
I belong to multiple camping groups, but if you are a woman camper, consider these two:
SISTERS ON THE FLY is a great option with 15,000 members, so you can travel around your region or around the country and always connect with fellow women campers. https://www.sistersonthefly.com/
MIDWEST GLAMPERS is a free group for women living in the Midwest. I'm active in the Iowa group, and we organize about seven camping trips each season. https://www.facebook.com/groups/midwestglampers/members

My first glamper camper. She was a perfect start, and I had a blast decorating her and traveling with her. But as my travel and art supplies expanded, I outgrew her. I sold her and bought Wanda Wanderlust.
